March 2, 2018—On Feb. 28, Nagy’s Collision Centers facilitated the 2018 Leadership Symposium for 112 local business leaders.
The symposium, which was an all-day event running from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., took place at the Wayne College Student Life Building in Orrville, Ohio.
This is the fourth year that Nagy’s has formed a committee with several other outside business leaders and led the planning efforts for the Leadership Symposium. The theme this year was “Impact,” challenging business leaders in the community to grow and personally demonstrate strong leadership skills.
The mission of the symposium is to give business leaders the opportunity to meet other local leaders, network with peers and wrestle with what impactful leadership looks like as individuals, teams and organizations.
Several guest speakers offered their insight on a variety of topics, including: Glenda Lehman Ervin, Doug Cooper, Jon Sommer, and Dwight Mason. Topics presented included role responsibilities, high-functioning team and self-leadership.
Additionally, smaller breakout sessions were offered for the first time this year. Three facilitators led the breakout sessions, which each centered on a different topic, including: Bethany Nussbaum, Dan Owolabi, and Rodd Welker.
