Tesla Model Y Production Set for 2020

Elon Musk said he wants to avoid the pain he's experiencing with the Model 3 production.

May 3, 2018—Elon Musk said Model Y will begin production in early 2020, reported The Verge.

Musk said in an earnings call on Wednesday, that Tesla has yet to spend on capital on the Model Y but was spending some money on early product designs, according to the report.

He said the Model Y will be built on a similar architecture to the recently released Model 3.
