May 5, 2017—The Collision Repair Education Foundation’s online database for high school and college résumés is currently accepting student résumé submissions. Students seeking jobs or internships in the industry are encouraged to submit a résumé to the database by visiting collisionrepaircareers.org prior to graduation.
The education foundation’s database is meant as a way for collision repair students, especially those unable to attend the foundation’s career fairs, to have an opportunity to submit their résumés to potential employers. At the end of each spring and fall semester, the database opens for students to add their information, and the information will be available to education foundation donors for follow-ups. Additionally, the foundation plans to track the number of students hired in the industry.
The education foundation also encourages students to submit their résumés on-site, at upcoming career fairs. The spring semester career-fair schedule is as follows:
Chicago on May 2
Madison, Wis., on May 3
St. Louis on May 5
Denver on May 8 (in conjunction with the Women’s Industry Network conference)
Nashville, Tenn. on May 17
