Oct. 10, 2018—A fire destroyed a former auto repair shop in Rossville, Tenn., late Sunday night. The blaze occurred around 10 p.m. local time, at the corner of Hooker Rd. and West Gordon Ave.

Neighbors told WRCB-TV that the fire was so large that firefighters warned them to keep a large distance and an entire nearby street had to be evacuated. One Rossville resident told the TV station that flames shot nearly "50 meters" in the air.

Now, debris is all that’s left of the old Defur’s Automotive Body Shop, as the fire engulfed the building now used to store lawn and garden supplies.

No one was inside the building at the time of the fire, and the cause of the blaze is reportedly still unknown.
