Oct. 29, 2018—The Society of Collision Repair Specialists and the Mississippi State University Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems will host a vehicle reveal on Tuesday at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The reveal is scheduled for 10 a.m., at SCRS’ No. 11173 booth.

The vehicle reveal is part of The Halo Project, which is the combination of several of CAVS’ capabilities, such as using in-house material inspection capabilities with C.T. X-ray scanning to ensure strong welds. The aforementioned vehicle features technological elements such as: autonomous capabilities, an advanced electric powertrain, and multiple sensors.

Additionally, on Friday, Nov. 2 at the SEMA Show, SCRS will host a presentation by Matthew Doude called “Evolving Automotive Design for an Autonomous Future.” That presentation will be part of SCRS’ IDEAS Collide Showcase, and will take place from 10 a.m. until noon, in room N241. The IDEAS Collide Showcase will also address topics that provide solutions in the collision repair industry.
