Volvo Group and Samsung SDI have entered a new partnership that focuses on the development and supply of batteries for Volvo’s electric trucks.

July 19, 2019—Volvo Group and Samsung SDI have entered a new strategic partnership that focuses on the development and supply of batteries for Volvo’s electric trucks, according to a report by Electrek.

Samsung will provide battery cells and modules. Volvo will use the battery pack technology in the assembly of its manufacturing operations.
