AMi Announces New Training Courses

The Automotive Management Institute is now offering FCA LLS online courses.

Oct. 3, 2019—The Automotive Management Institute has announced plans to offer new FCA LLC online courses. The courses are available around the clock and are approximately 45 minutes in length.

AMi said the courses may be paused and restarted at attendee's convenience. The courses, which cost $41.50 each, are intended to assist technicians in getting the most out of advancing automotive technology with an eye toward increased productivity. 

The new courses include the following: 

  • wiTECH 2.0 Fundamentals This online course introduces the wiTECH 2.0 scan tool and covers basic scan tool navigation, vehicle topology, reading DTCs, component identification, menu bar and scan tool operation. 
  • wiTECH 2.0 Flashing an ECU This online course introduces the process used to identify ECUs that require a flash. Included are the procedures used to flash existing ECUs, new ECUs with wiTECH 2.0. and flash procedure for radio ECUs via a USB memory drive is also presented. 
  • wiTECH 2.0 Flight Recordings This online course introduces the use of wiTECH 2.0 and microPOD II for the purpose of flight recordings. It covers flight recording setup, template creation, manipulation and viewing flight recordings, use of the flight recorder trigger and trigger LED characteristics.
