Pennsylvania Mother Receives ‘Recycled Ride’

A Philadelphia, Pennsylvania resident is the most recent recipient of a recycled ride from the National Auto Body Council.

A Philadelphia, Pennsylvania resident is the most recent recipient of a recycled ride from the National Auto Body Council, according to a press release.

Savannah Wilson was nominated by Family Promise of Delaware County to receive a newly refurbished 2013 Volkswagen Beetle, donated by GEICO and restored by Faulkner Collision Center of South Philadelphia.

Wilson is a single mother of a six-year-old son and has been a member of Family Promise Montgomery County since December 2022. She has worked with a case manager to devise a success plan and improve her credit, money management, and communication.

The presentation took place today at Faulkner Collision Center of South Philadelphia, located at 6615 Essington Ave in Philadelphia.
