The National Auto Body Council came together with GEICO and Classic Collision to donate restored vehicles through the Recycled Rides program to two individuals in need of transportation, according to a press release.
With vehicles donated by GEICO and restored by Classic Collision, the vehicles were presented to Michelle Campbell and Zandavia Brown in Orlando, Florida at Classic Collision’s 1109 South Orange Blossom Trail location.
Campbell is a mother of two working as a nurse at Central Florida Health Care. She hopes to own her own home one day but is held back financially due to having to continually have repairs on her vehicle done.
Brown has a 2-year-old child and is currently expecting a baby. She works full-time and attends classes for her personal and financial growth, hoping to soon become fully independent. Not having reliable transportation has made this difficult for her, with Brown having to utilize rideshare services due to bus routes not being available during her work hours.
“As part of the Classic Collision team and a member of this community, we are honored to give back to these two mothers and their children,” stated Jim O’Neill, Classic Collision’s area vice president in Florida, via the press release.
