The SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year by spotlighting the women in the organization, according to a press release.
SBN is a “subset network of the Specialty Equipment Market Association” that was developed to help support and uplift women in the automotive industry. The organization has “over 700 female and male members” from different segments of the aftermarket field.
Since 1993 SBN has coordinated “networking and recognition opportunities” for women looking to enter the automotive field, having most recently hosted its second annual Women’s Leadership Forum and the “#SheIsSEMA” online social media campaign.
To celebrate the 30th anniversary, SBN has launched a new campaign on their SEMA and SBN communication channels to share the stories of members of their network throughout the year until the 30th Anniversary Reception and Party at the SEMA Show in November.
“There is no better time than now to reflect on what the SBN has achieved,” said SBN Director Nicole Bradle. “Looking to the future, we aspire to further foster growth, support, and community for women.”
