Access Insurance Goes into Liquidation

The Alabama Department of Insurance said on Monday that Access Insurance has been placed into liquidation after not paying off its debts in February. All claims will be paid off by the Alabama Insurance Guaranty Association.

March 26, 2018—The Alabama Department of Insurance said on Monday that Access Insurance has been placed into liquidation after not paying off its debts in February, reported WTVM.

That means all Access Insurance policies will be terminated by April 12 and customers will need to find replacement coverage with a new insurance company.

All claims will be paid off by the Alabama Insurance Guaranty Association.
