Audi Recalls Q5 Model Amid Safety Concerns

Audi announced in the recall that the wheel arch cover trim may loosen and detach from the vehicle, becoming a road hazard.

October 24, 2019—Audi has announced a recall on its model-year 2018-20 Audi Q5 and model-year 2018-19 SQ5 SUVs. Approximately 174,300 are affected.

Audi issued the recall due to the rear wheel arch cover trim, which may loosen and detach from the vehicle, becoming a road hazard and increasing the risk of crash.

Audi will begin notifying owners of the issue on Nov. 1.
