Daimler Issues Recall for Faulty Sunroofs

Daimler has recalled nearly 750,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Jan. 6. 2020—Daimler is recalling 744,000 Mercedes-Benz cars for faulty sunroofs, according to a report by Reuters.

The sunroof glass panel could detach and pose a hazard. The automaker said the bonding between the glass panel and the sliding room frame might not meet specifications and could lead to sunroofs detaching.

The recall covers model years 2001-11.
