In depth training covered such topics as the role of a Repair Planner and how they benefit a Process Centered Environment. Other areas included how to effectively lead change in an organization, how to find, hire and keep employees and an update on how the Affordable Health Care for America Act affects small businesses.
“This meeting is the first of two North American Acoat selected gatherings held annually by AkzoNobel,” noted Barry Rinehart, North American Services Manager for AkzoNobel Automotive & Aerospace Coatings Americas. “As one of the world’s largest paint and coatings companies we know our customers find value in these engagements. The numbers tell the story. Approximately 240 industry leaders gathered to share experiences and knowledge about the rapidly changing dynamics of the collision industry. These market evolutions are redefining the roles of distributors and collision repair centers. Both shops and distributors are required to become more astute in their business practices to ensure mutual success.”
