Feb. 18, 2010—The Automotive Recyclers Association Education Foundation (ARAEF) announced a collaboration with I-CAR.

The two organizations plan to mutually promote the level of knowledge and skills required to improve communication and educational exchanges between the automotive recycling industry and the collision repair industry.

"A mutual understanding of each other's industries can go a long way in improving communications and meeting customer expectations." said Jamie Jacobs, I-CAR instructional designer.

The collaboration will result in new educational training tools with tremendous potential for innovation and far-reaching benefit, said Virginia Whelan, ARAEF managing director.
