Zara's Collision (Ill.) Earns Ford Aluminum Recognition

June 19, 2015

June 19, 2015—Zara’s Collision Center (Springfield, Ill.) has been recognized by Ford Motor Co. as an aluminum-capable collision repair facility through the Assured Performance Collision Network.

“We take great pride in the F-150 certification,” said Brad Zara, president of Zara’s Collision Repair. “The 2015 F-150s have aluminum-alloy bodies and steel frames. Drivers in this area who own those vehicles now have a local, certified repair facility for their convenience should an accident occur.”

Less than 5 percent of collision repair shops nationally have met the Assured Performance criteria. The recognition program (Ford does not have an official certification) requires shops to possess the proper tools, equipment, facilities, and trained staff required to repair vehicles to the manufacturer's specifications so that the fit, finish, durability, value, and safety of the vehicles are ensured.

Zara is the only Springfield-area body shop to have the Assured Performance recognition, as well as the only one in the area to be certified as a Honda Motor Co. ProFirst collision repair shop.

“This means that customers can expect a VIP, white-glove treatment backed by lifetime warranty of the repair,” said Zara.

Zara Collision is located at 3117 Wide Track Drive in Springfield, Ill.
