June 2, 2011 — Commercial vehicle producer Navistar International Corporation recently awarded its Diamond Supplier Award to Akzo Nobel for a third straight year.
“Diamond Suppliers earn this distinction by their ability to meet and exceed our performance expectations for quality, delivery and cost,” said Persio Lisboa, chief procurement officer with Navistar. “In addition, Diamond Suppliers are strategically aligned with International’s business goals and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.”
David Davis, director of sales for commercial finishes at Akzo Nobel, said the award symbolizes the company’s commitment to achieving goals for customers and helping them operate more efficiently.
