Once the staple "stitch" has been completed,the legs of the staples are easily removed (breaking off below the repaired surface) with one simple twist, due to their custom scored wire design. Due to the clean leg removal, with no wire sticking up through the surface, the final repair step of re-flowing the plastic over the staples to secure them in place is easily accomplished with the Plasti-Weld melt knife blade attachment.
