This family boasts three available capacities: 1,250 pounds, 1,650 pounds and 2,500 pound. These lifts feature tilting platforms to handle an extensive range of heavy-duty automotive applications.

The OTC 1595 2,500-pound Capacity Power Train Lift and the OTC 5285 1,650-ound Capacity Power Train Lift are equipped to handle engine and transmission assemblies, gas tanks, drive axle assemblies, engine / transaxle assemblies, electric bus batteries, and more. Scissor-type design small footprints at 31-by-50-inch footprints, providing easy access to all four sides and smart use of shop space. These power lifts are supported by two patent-applied-for independent adjusting screws which tilt the 20 ½-by-32 ½-inch table by 15 degrees (+/-) side-to-side or fore and aft, ensuring maximum stability in any position.

The OTC 1595 2,500-pound Capacity Power Train Lift features a quiet 110V electric/hydraulic pump for smooth, steady lifting and lowering motion controlled by a hand-held remote with a lifting range from 29 to 80 inches.  A 30-foot retractable extension cord reel is mounted to the frame.  Large casters with 6-inch clearance to the lower frame accommodate heavy loads.

The OTC 5285 1,650-pound Capacity Power Train Lift is similar in design to the OTC 1595, but with a lighter load capacity and price.  A foot control air/hydraulic pump with a lifting range of 31 ½ to 74 ½ inches is featured.  Large casters accommodate heavy loads with 9 ½-inch clearance to the lower frame.

“Today’s heavy-duty automotive repairs are challenging.  OTC is committed to providing our customers worldwide with reliable, heavy-duty solutions that reflect our commitment to innovation and market leadership,” said Bill Mark, Product Marketing Manager for OTC equipment.

The OTC 1585A Power Train Lift, ideal for engine and transaxle service, has a maximum weight capacity of 1,250 pounds.  A lifting arm design allows access on three sides, with a 43-by-59-inch footprint, larger than our larger capacity scissors lifts. Economical by design but durable in action, this Power Train Lift boasts swivel casters for easy maneuverability tilting 22 degrees front-to-back and 17 degrees side-to-side with a lift range from 29 ½ to 68 ½ inches.

These lifts are priced and designed to invite a multitude of uses.  The OTC 1758 Fuel Tank Handler is just one of the accessories that OTC offers in their innovative and integrated product line, making repair work efficient and safe.
