Automotive Parts Associates (APA) and Interamerican Motor Corporation (IMC) have developed a single source purchasing program of auto parts for foreign brand nameplate vehicles. This program was designed to keep APA shareholders competitive and grow the import portion of their wholesale and retail businesses.

This program, which was tailored to the APA members, will include many special benefits, including electronic cataloging in Activent and Wrenchead, counterman training, dealer sales calls and inventory management. This program is an additional tool to APA’s broad based offering of direct purchase manufacturers programs.

Interamerican Motor Corporation is a leading distributor of OE quality import replacement parts, with more than 60,000 part numbers for German, Swedish, British, Asian and Domestic cars. IMC has relationships with more than 2,500 suppliers from more than 40 countries and can source parts
from OEM manufacturers as well as the highest quality aftermarket suppliers.

“We’re proud to enter into this alliance with IMC. It should level the playing field for our shareholders in today’s very competitive marketplace.” says Dan Freeman, President & CEO of Automotive Parts Associates, Inc.
