Dayco has developed and compiled Technical information to help the Professional Mechanic and DIYer diagnose belt noise on some of the most demanding drives in the market.

Technical Notes are a combination of OE service bulletins, engineering vehicle analysis and interviews with professional technicians outlining solutions for noise. Robert Christy, Dayco's Director of Marketing states, “Noise remains one of the biggest challenges associated with belts today. Something is causing the noise and it’s not the belt.

We are now offering Professional Technicians and DIYers real solutions to help resolve these issues. As of today, we have Tech Notes covering over 2,000 applications with more to come over the coming year.

Our focus is to continue to add value to our brands through innovative support like Tech Notes.” Dayco has also developed a Serpentine Belt Technical Video demonstrating some “tricks of the trades” when confronted with noise.
