Bosch is launching a comprehensive automotive battery program in the continental United States with the introduction of three new passenger vehicle lines and a high tech AGM passenger vehicle line for extreme conditions and start/stop applications. Featuring traditional Bosch quality and performance, the 100 percent maintenance-free batteries are designed to handle the increasing power requirements of present and future vehicles.
“Bosch’s battery program meets the growing electrical power needs of popular domestic and import passenger cars, light trucks and SUVs, with 95 percent coverage of vehicles on the road in North America,” says Thomas Winter, global marketing director, Energy Systems for Bosch.

In addition to the passenger car battery program, Bosch will also launch truck battery as well as lawn and garden battery programs.
The new passenger car batteries offer real choice for motorists, and include the S5 premium performance battery, the S4 quality performance battery, the S3 value performance battery, and the S6 high performance AGM battery.
