The HITS® business management platform for tire dealers and related businesses will soon include a comprehensive Web-based service estimating solution and electronic catalog designed to help users dramatically increase sales in non-tire automotive service categories.
HITS developer Andreoli & Associates, Inc. is working with Activant Solutions Inc. to finalize the addition of the Activant® Integrated Service Estimator™ (ISE) solution into the Web-based HITS BPOS business management platform. The HITS software is used by retail tire and auto service businesses in 40 states.
The Activant ISE solution enables tire dealers and other users to quickly identify the information, parts and suppliers needed to complete virtually any common automotive repair. The solution provides fast, easy access to an extensive array of features and functionality, including the aftermarket-leading Activant PartExpert® database of 7.9 million parts covering approximately 148.5 million applications. The ISE solution also includes integrated parts pricing and sourcing capabilities through more than 8,000 North American replacement parts distributors.
All parts, labor and pricing information looked up within the Activant ISE solution will be able to be imported in a matter of seconds to any HITS BPOS estimate, work order or invoice.

Current users of HITS M/S software will be able to easily convert to the enhanced, Web-based HITS BPOS system featuring the Activant ISE solution, according to Andreoli.
