ASA gearing up for May's ASA Capitol Hill Fly-In and AMI Leadership Conference
Members of the mechanical side of automotive repair have the chance this year to voice their opinions alongside collision sector members during the annual Automotive Service Association (ASA) Capitol Hill Fly-In.
The event gives ASA members the chance to meet with policymakers to discuss industry issues. The event will take place May 11-12, 2010, in Washington, D.C., and will address the key issues facing both collision- and mechanical-repair professionals.
The 2010 event will be paired with an Automotive Management Institute (AMI) Leadership Conference, allowing attendees to participate in two additional three-hour workshops focusing on ethical leadership. The workshops are designed to enhance attendees’ business and personal success.
“We are very excited about this year’s Capitol Hill Fly-In. Last year, ASA exceeded our goal for participation in the Fly-In. Mechanical and collision repairers will have an opportunity to send a strong message to federal policymakers on critical industry issues,” says Bob Redding, ASA’s Washington, D.C., representative.
ASA will assist its members in scheduling key appointments on Capitol Hill to meet with policymakers.
