Techs who purchase Snap-on’s ¼-inch Fractional General Service Set (125TPB) in the first quarter of 2009 will receive two free ¼-inch ratchets.  This multi-purpose general service set and the additional ratchets are sure to make the “hard-to-get-at” jobs a lot easier and give techs a productive start to the new year, according to the company.

“By purchasing Snap-on’s ¼-inch Fractional General Service Set, service technicians will definitely be acting on their New Year’s resolution to be more productive and efficient in the shop,” says Scott Amundson, product manager for Snap-on. “These are great time-saving tools that will help perform more jobs during the course of a day. In addition, this is a fantastic opportunity for those who have Snap-on’s metric sockets to build upon their socket set.”

The ¼-inch Fractional General Service Set features 25 pieces and comes in a sturdy plastic box. Having pioneered the idea of interchangeable sockets almost 90 years ago, Snap-on provides sockets that professionals depend on to work in tighter places, deliver more turning power and last longer.

The long handle comfort grip ratchet (THL72) and the long handle flex head comfort grip ratchet (THLF72) are both manufactured with Dual 80 Technology. They may look like other ratchets, but Snap-on Dual 80® Technology has an extremely fine-tooth gear with 80 teeth on a surprisingly compact head, a new benchmark in its class, providing a smaller ratcheting arc than any other ratchet on the market, the company adds.
