To offer greater flexibility and reach more technicians, the Mobile Air Conditioning Socity (MACS) has acquired resources to provide live mobile A/C training via the Internet in a Webinar format.

A Webinar class requires students to view the instructor and class presentation materials on a computer monitor connected to the internet. Students hear the instructor over the phone.

“The internet is a tremendous resource for reaching technicians who need training,” says Elvis L. Hoffpauir, MACS president and chief operating officer. “MACS is continually seeking new resources to fulfill our mission of educating technicians in proper and environmentally sound methods of mobile A/C and engine cooling repair.”

Initially, MACS will offer prep classes for the Section 609 certification class and portions of the MACS Best Practices class via the web. Organizations wishing to schedule webinar classes should contact Marion Posen at MACS
by e-mail at [email protected] or call (215) 631-7020, ext. 304.
