WORLDPAC exec named CAWA board secretary

The California/Nevada/Arizona Automotive Wholesalers' Association (CAWA) Board of Directors has elected Steve Sharp of WORLDPAC as secretary to the board.

The California/Nevada/Arizona Automotive Wholesalers' Association (CAWA) Board of Directors has elected Steve Sharp of WORLDPAC as secretary to the board.

"As the inaugural position in the line of officers, Steve will serve the association valuably over the next several years," says Pat Winters of CARQUEST and CAWA chairman of the board. "His unique and diversified experience of 30 years in the industry will greatly benefit CAWA and its members throughout the West."

Sharp currently serves as the executive vice president of Enterprise Brand Management for WORLDPAC and is based in Newark, Calif. He had held various positions with WORLDPAC including wholesale sales manager, marketing manager and vice president of Western Sales and Operations.

“With a history of more than 50 years, CAWA has developed itself into one of the premiere automotive aftermarket associations”, Sharp said upon his election. “It is truly an honor and privilege to be nominated and elected to their Executive Committee."
