Chief Automotive Technologies donated a Fuzion
frame rack to Bridgerland Applied Technology
College in Logan, Utah, in support of the school
being selected as the 2010 winner of the
Collision Repair Education Foundation’s
Ultimate Collision Education Makeover school
grant.
This donation enables students in the college’s collision repair program to learn on up-to-date equipment using the latest technology. As a result, they will be better prepared to work in the industry upon graduation. With this $35,000 in-kind product donation, Chief joins a growing list of industry members who are supporting the Education Foundation at a high level and becoming members of the organization’s Industry Leadership Circle donor recognition program.
“When we heard that the 2010 Ultimate Collision
Education Makeover grant winner needed a new frame
rack, we were very happy to provide Bridgerland
with a Chief pulling system,” said Mike Cranfill,
Chief vice president of collision. “This flexible
and strong system can handle anything these
students can throw at it. It’s just the equipment
they need to start learning the design based repair
techniques required to properly repair today’s
vehicles.”
Kevin Cornia, collision repair instructor at
Bridgerland Applied Technology College (BATC), was
appreciative of the donation and the value that
training on modern equipment provides to his
students. “The Chief Fuzion rack is a spectacular
piece of equipment. I would like to thank Chief, as
we are honored and feel very fortunate to receive
this donation,” he said. “The real winners will be
the students now and well into the future.”
Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive

even higher level that will serve generations of

collision repair students’ education. Through the
industry’s support of the Education Foundation’s
Makeover program, Bridgerland Applied Technology
College’s program is on track to receive more than
$100,000 in products, tools, equipment, and
supplies.”
