SAS Safety Corp. donates safety glasses to collision schools through Collision Repair Education Foundation
Secondary and post-secondary students will be safer in their
collision programs through SAS Safety Corp.'s donation of over
6,000 pairs of their “Killer Bee” safety glasses to the
Collision Repair Education Foundation (formerly the I-CAR
Education Foundation). These donated safety glasses will be
distributed to schools that applied to the Ultimate Collision
Education Makeover $50,000 school grant and students applying
for the available Education Foundation's 2011 spring
scholarships and grants. The total monetary amount of this
donation equals approximately $12,000.
“We would like to thank SAS Safety Corp. for this incredible donation of safety glasses that will help keep collision students, the future professionals of this industry, protected and help instill safe habits as they learn to repair vehicles,” stated Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director, Scott Kruger. “Through this donation, SAS Safety Corp. is now a member of the Foundation’s Industry Leadership Circle and joins a list of ever-growing industry leaders that are making an impact on collision student education.”
