State of the Industry Manufacturers Despite industry pressures, manufacturers we surveyed feel confident they can increase their revenue in 2009. Of those we surveyed, 68 percent expect to see increases in revenue, while only 10 percent expect revenue to decline. For the manufacturers anticipating increases, 40 percent foresee profits of 6 percent to 10 percent.
