CARY, N.C. — LORD Corporation has released a new weld bonding training module that is the latest in the company’s comprehensive list of educational workshops.

The course educates collision repair technicians on new procedures to restore damaged vehicles to factory specifications and pre-loss condition. Proper usage of structural adhesives in conjunction with squeeze-type resistance spot welding (STRSW) is detailed. Further, students learn the benefits of adhesives, advantages of weld bonding, successful weld bonding techniques, appropriate STRSW equipment selection and proper welder set-up. In addition, students have the opportunity to work “hands-on” with the latest adhesive and welding equipment technologies.

Interested technicians should contact their local LORD Fusor distributor for details regarding upcoming training dates and locations. Also, prospective students may visit www.lord.com/fusor or call (877) ASK-LORD to inquire about more information regarding this weld bonding course, including registration.
