As part of the kickoff, the National Hot Rod Association Top Fuel driver joined Honeywell Friction Materials’ employees as they completed team-building challenges at this year’s “Winning 101: Fueled for Sales Growth” meeting. Millican also addressed the crowd, expressing his excitement for the partnership and congratulating employees on another year of hard work and innovation.

“The Bendix brand has a long-standing history in motorsports, and we’re proud to partner with a driver like Clay,” said Jim Kelley, Director of Sales for the Americas, Honeywell Friction Materials. “We’re excited for what looks to be an exciting and successful racing season.”

Bendix joins the team of sponsors partnering with Millican, who drives the Parts Plus Top Fuel dragster. With six consecutive world championships, Millican is the winningest driver among active Top Fuel drivers and among Top Fuel drivers in International Hot Rod Association history.

“I’m thrilled to have the Bendix team involved for the 2012 season,” Millican said. “This partnership will be a huge benefit to the team as a whole, and I’m looking forward to what we’re able to do together this season – on the track and off.”
