CSK Auto Corporation recently announced that its new senior management team has reorganized the staffing in the company's corporate offices by consolidating certain corporate functions and eliminating several vice president and other management positions. Chief Executive Officer Larry Mondry has reassigned several executives in order to leverage existing skills and experience across the senior management team and to continue reducing general and administrative operating costs.

"Creating a leaner, more efficient management structure across the various corporate functions is an important step in CSK Auto's continued transformation," says Mondry. "In addition to better utilizing the significant talents resident at CSK, we are creating an opportunity for the new senior management team to more closely interact with key functional staff, giving rise to a more entrepreneurial yet well-managed environment, and appropriately scaling the team to better reflect the size and state of the business."

James Constantine (EVP of Finance and CFO), Dale Ward (EVP, Operations), Brian Woods (EVP, Merchandising), Larry Ellis (SVP, Logistics), Larry Buresh (SVP and CIO), Randi Morrison (SVP, General Counsel and Secretary) and Mike Bryk (SVP of Finance and Controller) will all remain in their current roles.

Senior Vice President John Saar, who previously led the Commercial Sales business, will now oversee Human Resources and Real Estate. Saar, who has more than 34 years of tenure with the company, has in the past held managerial positions with oversight responsibilities in these functional areas. The Commercial Sales business will now be led by current Vice President of Commercial Sales Greg Livingston, reporting to Dale Ward. Ward previously headed the Commercial Sales function from October 2001 to May 2005.
