Tiremetrix, LLC, a Michigan-based software company will be co-developing an enhanced digital version of the company’s TPMS Manager subscription software in cooperation with the Tire Industry Association (TIA).

The new edition is to combine Tiremetrix’s existing data and software platform with extensive TPMS training and a video library supplied by TIA.

“We share the same fundamental objective, to help the tire retailer get the critical information needed to service TPMS-equipped vehicles,” reports Kevin Rohlwing, TIA’s senior vice president of training.

“Our TPMS Relearn Chart has been a huge success in helping these shops, but we needed something that could be easily updated more than once a year,” he explains.

“Tiremetrix’s TPMS Manager gives TIA a unique digital platform where we can continually expand our technical support to the industry,” says Rohlwing.

“By combining TIA’s training and technical library with the extensive knowledge base created by Tiremetrix, we can provide our members and the industry with unparalleled TPMS reference materials,” he notes.

“We are very excited to join with the Tire Industry Association in developing this resource for the tire retailers,” says Joe Donehue, Tiremetrix’s president.

“Our industry-neutral platform allows all TPMS stakeholders to plug into our software and deliver their parts and service information downstream to the end user,” he continues.

“Combined with the tire industry’s leadership in technician training and TPMS relearn information, the TPMS Manager-Powered by TIA will help tire dealers more effectively service TPMS-equipped vehicles,” says Donehue. “Until now, TPMS complexity in parts, systems and compatibility, scan tool requirements, and vehicle relearn procedures has been daunting for most tire dealers.”

Set for release later this year, it will be available on a monthly subscription basis. TIA members will receive special pricing, but it is available to non-members as well. Members who currently subscribe to TPMS Manager will automatically roll over to the next release.
