TBC buys four Buffalo Tire outlets in two North Carolina cities

TBC has purchased four Buffalo Tire and Automotive Service Centers in North Carolina. The two locations in Charlotte will operate under the Tire Kingdom name, while the two sites in Jacksonville will become Merchant's Tire and Auto Centers.
TBC has purchased four Buffalo Tire and Automotive Service Centers in North Carolina. The two locations in Charlotte will operate under the Tire Kingdom name, while the two sites in Jacksonville will become Merchant’s Tire and Auto Centers.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

“We will continue to meet the needs of the local communities with quality products and services at affordable prices all the while providing exceptional customer service,” says Orland Wolford, TBC’s president and CEO.

The acquisition brings the total company-operated retail store locations up to 829.

“We are excited to bring Buffalo Tire associates into the TBC family,” says Wolford, “and look forward to meeting the growing needs of our customers in all of our markets.”

TBC operates the Tire Kingdom, National Tire and Battery, Merchant’s Tire and Auto Centers chains and more than 400 franchised Big O Tires stores.
