The seminar is designed to appeal to those directly or indirectly involved in the tire industry and to provide an overview of tire design, construction and performance. The course includes a brief history of tire industry milestones, an explanation of stamping and identification requirements, a discussion on industry regulatory and legislative activity, the basics of tire uniformity and rolling resistance, as well as an overview of wheels, their types and how they are manufactured and tested.Participants will tour the company’s testing labs for a first-hand description of test equipment and methodology, and they have the opportunity to participate in open Q&A sessions throughout the course.
