Titan has added two tires to
radial OTR lineup – the LDR 250 and the
MXL.
“Titan offers a wide array of loader tires in both radial
and bias designs, with a wide variety of compounds, sizes
and tread depths,” says Paul Hawkins, vice president of OTR
sales.
With an L5 tread design, the LDR 250 is ideal for
large loaders in the harshest of pit and quarry settings
where treadlife and rock damage are major concerns, he says.
It is available in three sizes – 35/65R33, 45/65R45 and
50/65R51. The open, non-directional tread pattern also
provides all-around traction, excellent self-cleaning and
resistance to rock cutting.
“The LD250 has been a proven performer in the Titan lineup
for years,” says Hawkins. “Now customers will get the same
proven performance they’ve come to expect from the LD250 but
in a radial tire. The introduction of these three sizes will
give our customers the option of selecting a radial or a
bias design, whichever is optimal for their quarry.”
The MXL is built for use with both front-bucket loaders and
graders in light duty settings. Available in four sizes –
17.5R25, 20.5R25, 23.5R25 and 26.5R25 – the MXL’s aggressive
tread design and sturdy tread elements provide good
traction, he reports.
