Cooper has expanded its Roadmaster RM230 tire line by adding 12R22.5 and 12R24.5 sizes.

“These additional sizes will fill out the RM230 product line, providing our dealers with an expanded offering in their commercial tire lineup,” reports Bill Hoban, national truck tire sales manager.

“Our focus is on offering the best value proposition for our commercial dealers and their customers,” he says.

Cut- and chip-resistant compounding is specifically designed for mixed service applications including dump trucks, sanitation and logging.

“The RM230’s cool-running base compound, combined with its four-belt construction, offers strength and performance while resisting stone penetration and delivering the durability and retreadability fleet owners expect,” according to Hoban.

“Its robust four-rib tread pattern and wide footprint deliver high mileage and good handling – both on the road and in the unpaved areas where these tires are expected to perform,” he notes.

A 23/32-inch tread provides extended treadlife, Hoban adds.
