Magnum D’Or Resources, Inc. is reporting that its Magnum/SRI custom compound light truck tires have set new records in on-the-road testing by the Rubber Research Institute of the Malaysian Rubber Board’s Tire Lab (RRI).
At 14 percent recycled content, the Magnum/SRI tires are nearly 600 percent better than tires made with existing recycled rubber technologies, according to COO Bryan Brammer.
The RRI has just completed load endurance tests on the first sets of the Magnum/SRI tires under review along with OEM control tires for comparison.
The company’s tires have “successfully cleared the minimum specifications and were then taken to destruction – pushed to the max; the results were equal to or beyond the control, therefore exceeding expectations. These tests are now in the process of being repeated several times to re-verify these test results, as this achievement is considered to be very significant,” he says.
