Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels has received the 2009 Governor’s Excellence in Exporting Award, also known as an E-Award, in Ohio.
Each year, the Ohio's governor presents E-Awards to companies and organizations that have increased the number of export-related jobs in Ohio or helped Ohio companies achieve success internationally.

Mickey Thompson was honored at a luncheon ceremony held in Columbus, Ohio, in late August. The luncheon ceremony coincided with the Second Annual Ohio Global Summit covering topics on global trade opportunities, regulations and logistics, and keys to successful strategies for foreign direct-investment attraction.
