March 11, 2010

March 11, 2010—The Automotive Management Institute (AMI) is accepting applications for the 20th annual 2010 Emil Stanley Merit Award.

The scholarship is awarded to an individual who works in an Automotive Service Association (ASA) Collision Division member-business, and who displays a desire to improve their business skills through management education.

The award recipient will receive $1,000 toward expenses to attend the 2010 International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) in Las Vegas, Oct. 10-13.

Award applicants must work in the collision repair industry, demonstrate an interest in self-improvement through management education, own or work for a business that is an ASA member in good standing, and be recommended by the business owner if the applicant is not the owner.

AMI trustees and their employees, and the Emil Stanley Scholarship Selection Committee and its employees are not eligible to apply.

Call AMI at 800.272.7467 ext. 241, or visit amionline.org for a scholarship application or for more information. Applications are due Aug. 13.
