October 4, 2010—State Farm has donated $70,000 to I-CAR’s Education Foundation.

The donation will go to the Collision Repair Education Campaign (CREC), which allows the foundation to give scholarships and grants to schools, instructors and students in the industry, according to an I-CAR Education Foundation press release_notes.

“The work of the Education Foundation is consistent with State Farm’s philosophy,” said Chris Evans, State Farm claims consultant. “We believe that all young people deserve an education that helps them reach their potential and prepares them for life. Our support goes to programs that provide students the instruction, resources, and support they need to succeed.”
