Oct. 27, 2014—Safelite Group, a leading vehicle glass and claims management company, has renewed its annual contribution of $10,000 to the Collision Repair Education Foundation, according to a recent announcement.
Safelite’s contribution helps enhance the Education Foundation’s ability to offer grants and scholarships to career and technical schools and colleges, and the students attending these schools. The $10,000 gift from Safelite will support the Education Foundation’s Collision Repair Education Campaign fund, which allows the foundation to provide its annual student scholarships, school grants, and the annual Ultimate Collision Education Makeover $50,000 school grant.
“Safelite renewing their annual contribution to the Collision Repair Education Foundation displays their belief that the collision school programs across the country are a worthwhile investment and the technical education of these high school and post-secondary collision students is vital to produce qualified and productive entry-level job candidates within the industry,”Collision Repair Education Foundation Executive Director Clark Plucinski said in a release. “For an organization that believes so much in be a responsible member of their communities, we thank Safelite for donating to the Education Foundation and investing the collision industry future professionals and their school programs.”
