Sherwin-Williams announces Q4 training schedule

Aug. 31, 2011

Aug. 31, 2011—Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes on Wednesday announced its 2011 fourth quarter training schedule.

Classes will be held nationwide Oct. 3 through Dec. 19 at metropolitan Sherwin-Williams Automotive training centers.

Classes are designed to increase shop productivity through classroom, web and hands-on training. Fourth quarter sessions include painter certification, AWX waterborne systems, color adjustment and blending, key performance indicators, estimating and workshop efficiency, according to Sherwin-Williams.

“Sherwin-Williams wants collision repair shops to become lean and green,” said Rod Habel, director of training operations for Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes. “You really can’t become green without first becoming lean and that means minimizing or even eliminating waste. A number of our sessions introduce concepts that support sustainable practices that should ultimately increase most collision centers’ productivity.”
