Mitchell International offers new data-driven technology

Oct. 31, 2011

Oct. 31, 2011—A new data-driven solution that integrates OEM repair procedures within the body shop estimating and repair workflow has been announced.

The technology OEM Advisor helps collision repair shops link from the repair lines in the estimate directly to Mitchell International’s RepairCenter TechAdvisor OEM database to quickly access step-by-step repair information associated with the specific part or procedure. Users can also create custom repair reports that document the repair; from there they can share it with their insurance partners.

“Adding OEM Advisor to RepairCenter… is a significant addition that we’re really excited about,” said Jim O’Leary, Mitchell’s vice president of repair solutions.

Mitchell International is a technology provider for the collision repair and property and claims industries.
