I-CAR fundraiser golf tournament sells out early

July 6, 2010

July 6, 2010—The I-CAR Education Foundation’s annual golf tournament has sold out.

The 144 tournament spots were filled, for the first time, weeks in advance and the event is likely to be the highest grossing tournament fundraiser to date, according to a foundation press release_notes. The tournament is on July 22 at the Eaglewood Golf Resort in Itasca, Ill. There will be networking opportunities and $15,000 in prizes given away. In addition, a silent auction will be held for a Barrett-Jackson VIP package for two to attend the 2011 collector car event in Scottsdale, Ariz.

“The Foundation is overwhelmed with the support we have received regarding our annual golf tournament fundraiser,” said Scott Kruger, executive director of the I-CAR Education Foundation. “The tournament will be one to remember as not only will attendees enjoy 18 holes at the AAA Four Diamond award winning Eaglewood Golf Resort but also a one-of-a-kind post tournament networking reception at TopGolf, one of only three facilities in the country.”

The event will take place during the Collision Industry Conference (CIC) in Chicago. For more information about the event, go to ed-foundation.org.
