Airgas donates welding helmets to I-CAR

June 16, 2010

June 16, 2010—Airgas Inc. donated 195 welding helmets to the I-CAR Education Foundation, which will be given to schools this fall as part of the Ultimate Collision Education Makeover grant.

The grant helps schools improve and fund their collision repair programs, and companies like Airgas Inc. provide in-kind products in addition to actual funds.

"We're very happy to be able to help the I-CAR Education Foundation and local schools by contributing welding helmets," said David Levin, vice president for Airgas Inc.’s Hardgoods. "During times like this, when school budgets and resources are stretched, it's important for businesses to step forward and invest in the education and future of our young people."
