Deadline to Refile Motion in Case Against Insurers Approaching

Nov. 30, 2015—The Dec. 15 deadline to refile the Crawford’s Auto Center Inc. and K&M Collision LLC et al v. State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance et al is approaching.

The lawsuit, originally filed in 2014, alleges steering by insurance companies to drive down labor rates.

The suit was dismissed by Middle District of Florida Judge Gregory Presnell without prejudice on Nov. 25 with a Dec.15 deadline to amend the case.

Presnell stated that the lawsuit was too broad. The court ordered that all future motions and responses be limited to a maximum of 20 pages.
