Chief has announced a new product.

April 20, 2017—Chief has introduced a mobile cabinet (p/n CHR2100), which is equipped with counterweighted boom for its Heavy Duty Rivet Gun. The cabinet helps technicians more easily maneuver the rivet gun by taking some of the weight off of the technician's shoulders.

The new wheeled cabinet has a 24 ½ inch by 34 inch footprint. It has a slide-out tray to hold the rivet gun and space for the pressure intensifier. The cabinet has five drawers.

“The next wave of vehicles is incorporating more high-strength steel, requiring the addition of new joining equipment in shops with limited space and already crowded bays,” said Mikey Swartz, vice president of internal business development/global product management for Chief. “Chief has addressed both of these issues with our new small-footprint boomed cabinet to make our new Heavy-Duty Rivet Gun more portable and easier to use.”
