Quality Collision Group (QCG) announced two significant appointments to their leadership team, according to a news release.
Brian Nichols, a seasoned veteran of the collision industry with 30 years of experience and former co-owner of Cascade Collision Repair, has assumed the role of VP of mergers & acquisitions. Nichols previously served as VP of operations for Cascade Collision Repair after its acquisition by QCG.
Jerod Guerin, CEO and founder of Quality Collision Group, said Nichols’ recent experience with the acquisition of his family’s company adds significant value to their organization. "Cascade Collision Repair had offers from the nation’s largest MSOs and chose Quality Collision Group. Having Brian’s expertise on our team is a strategic advantage,” Guerin said.
In a related move, Cascade Collision Repair has promoted Navada Smith to the position of VP of operations. Smith joined Cascade Collision as an auto body technician in May 2000 and has shown exceptional dedication and leadership. He most recently served as regional production manager for Cascade Collision’s nine locations.
Matt Robbins, QCG’s chief operating officer, praised Smith. “Navada Smith embodies the uplifting, motivated leadership that characterizes Cascade Collision Repair’s culture and success in the western region,” Robbins said. He added that Cascade Collision Repair is set to expand further in the coming year, with multiple greenfield locations currently under construction.
The recent appointments follow the acquisition of eight Cascade Collision Repair locations in January. A ninth location in Murray, Utah, opened in March.
